Radiant Insignificance

When my friend asked me why I do the work I do… why nature, why women, what drives you? As a child, I discovered how being in nature had the power to soothe my anxious mind. My thoughts settle. I am connected and in tune and a part of the everything. The way water sparkles on a blade of grass, how the trees move with the wind and delighting in all the creatures brings me into a different way of being alive. I am all at once tiny and monumental. I am radiantly insignificant.
